Got Milk? And Cookies loop SHARETWEET
Pros: fun and easy desert riding
Cons: a few sandy sections, HOT in the summer
Milk and Cookies is a 5.9 mile loop in the McCoy Flat Trail System near Vernal, UT. The riding is not very technical, but there are a couple of fun small rock gardens and small ledge drops. There is only about 200 feet of climbing for the whole ride. There are a couple of moderately challenging short steeper climbs.
We like to ride this loop clockwise to hit the more technical parts early in the ride. This trail has great signage. There are many more difficult trails that fork off Got Milk?, but its easy to stay on the trail if you read the signs.
Getting there: (from Vernal)
- Drive west on Highway 40 (about 6 miles)
- Turn left onto McCoy Flats Road (about 3 miles)
- Park at the trailhead on McCoy Flats Road.
