Earlier this week, we ran through 10 great mountain bike options for NICA racers. We heard from some of you that the bikes we highlighted might be a bit outside your current disposable income window. We decided to start researching some less expensive mountain bikes that would be good for pre-teen/teen NICA riders. In the process, we ran across some killer deals on some 2018 bikes. If you want to buy new, the fall is almost always your best bet because shops are generally looking to get rid of remaining inventory to make room for newer models. While not super-light, these five mountain bikes have good quality components and are available now – but not for long!
